Thank you CASA

We’d like to take a minute to thank all of the people who work endless hours for CASA.  We had a blast singing at BOSS this past weekend.  It’s so great to see how much the organization and these festivals have grown over the past 10 years.  We consider ourselves extremely honored to have been chosen to be a part of BOSS and we hope that we will have the chance to share our music at one of these festivals again.  Thanks so much to all of our fans who came out to support us.  We’re working on putting together an official CD release party, so please stay tuned!  In the meantime, check out our latest EP “Six” on CD Baby.

FOCS Has a New EP Available!

We are pleased to announce that after 13 years of waiting, Five O’Clock Shadow has a new album for sale.  The album is called “Six”, and is a five-song EP comprised of four originals and one cover.  The album will be available for purchase on April 6th at BOSS.  Please, come to the show and pick up your copy!

Happy New Year!

Hey everyone, just wanted to take a minute and wish you all a very happy new year.  There are many exciting things in the works for FOCS.  We are currently in the studio recording a new EP that we are hoping to have finished in the coming months.  Please stay tuned for updates!  In the meantime, stop by our “Albums” page and take a listen…

Armageddon Outta Here

Hope everyone’s holiday shopping season is going off without a hitch.  Five O’Clock Shadow is very excited to announce the first full length show of our new lineup on December 21st at Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham, MA.  We’ve self-titled the show “Armageddon Outta Here” because as we all know, the Myan calendar predicts that 12/21/12 is the end of the world.  Therefore, in light of that fact, please come celebrate the end of the world while also celebrating a new chapter in FOCS’s history.  We hope to see you there!

Oh, and before we forget, we’ll be debuting some new music and bringing back our holiday tunes for this show.  It’s going to be a blast.

Fody’s Tavern Postponed

At this time, we will be postponing our Fody’s Tavern show to a later date.  Our apologies to those who were looking forward to seeing us in NH.  We hope you’ll be able to come see us at our show in Framingham, MA on December 21st at Amazing Things Arts Center!

Stack is Leaving…

After 14 years with Five O’Clock Shadow, David “Stack” Stackhouse will be leaving us.

Stack has been the driving force of the group for so long.  His originals have been the soundtrack of Five O’Clock Shadow’s past 10+ years.  His energy on stage and his character within the group are both irreplaceable.  Stack coined the term “beatbass,” and is the only one to this day who can do what he does, as well as he does it.  We will miss him.

Please come say farewell to Stack with us on November 17, 2012 at Steeple Coffeehouse.  I’m sure it will be a show to remember.

If you want to learn more about what Stack is up to next, please visit his website.
